Our Mission
He Is Real Today exists to help people encounter God through the real, honest testimonies of others. We believe that hearing how God has worked in someone else's life; in their struggles, their turning points, and their everyday circumstances, can open the door for anyone, whether they've never explored Christianity before or have been walking with God for years, to experience Him for themselves.
Our Vision
We want to build the world's most accessible library of first-hand encounters with God: a free, searchable platform where anyone, anywhere, can find a testimony that speaks directly to what they're going through; whether that's grief, addiction, anxiety, marriage breakdown, illness, doubt, or simply curiosity about faith. Our long-term vision is a global, church-supported network contributing testimonies so the library grows continually and reaches people far beyond our own capacity to produce content alone.
What We Do
He Is Real Today (Charity No. 1218169, registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales) is a volunteer-led charity operating entirely online at heisreal.today. We do not have a physical premises; our work is carried out by a team of volunteers who:
Source user generated testimony content — video, audio, and written testimonies of people's real encounters with God.
Index and moderate content — organising every testimony by the life circumstance it speaks to (e.g. loss, addiction, healing, relationships), so visitors can search for a story that matches their own situation. Content is reviewed with the help of AI-assisted moderation tools before publication.
Distribute across platforms — sharing testimonies via YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp to reach people where they already are online.
Point people toward next steps — every testimony includes a call to action directing viewers to their local Alpha Course, so anyone inspired by what they've seen has a clear, practical way to explore faith further with a local church community.
Who We're For
Our primary audience is people who are unfamiliar with Christianity or curious about faith but wouldn't necessarily walk into a church; we aim to meet them first through relatable, honest human stories. Our secondary audience is existing believers who are encouraged and strengthened by hearing what God is doing in other people's lives.
